The Nathan Drake Collection and Uncharted 4 on PC?
As Microsoft bridges the gap between XBOX and PC with the crossing over of games like Gears of War and Forza... should Sony consider doing the same with games like Uncharted and The Last Of Us?

I would GLADLY pay 150€ for a Ratchet and Clank collection for PC.

I pose the question again.

If I wanted to play console exclusives would I not have a console already?

I wish. Playstation exclusives are way more interesting than the ones xbox has. The uncharted series look like interesting games which I'll probably never get to play.

I don't know, depends on how badly you want them.

There seems to be some misconception on what Microsoft is doing on the PC, when they bring Xbox games to the PC its strictly for the Windows 10 Platform this is because Windows 10 has been designed to be integrated with Xbox One.

The point of Windows 10 Gaming is a console gaming on the PC, it allows Cross Play with xbox one and win 10 users aswell as cross buy and removes the ability of cheating and hacking. You don't have to use windows store you can use xbox live for everything and it duplicates and activates on Windows 10 automatic. The Windows 10 architecture has a lot in common with the Xbox One operating System in order to make development easier between both platform.

Sony has 0 interest in PC Gaming and counter productive to their interest if anything PC Gaming is a threat to Sony's Playstation gaming. Therefore you will NOT be seeing any PS4 exclusives on even Windows 10.

I've played console long before I ever got into PC gaming. Currently I have an XBOX ONE alongside my PC. I have strongly considered buying a PS4 so to play the exclusive games it offers however if they were to share the wealth just as Microsoft has begun to do well then there would be no point in me spending $300-400 on another console.

Some of us know what is the meaning of PC master race. You likely have some low powered PC where you play farmville or indie games and believe thats Gaming.

So I can't speak for you but for the rest of us we are not going to say no to console exclusives coming to PC no sane person is going to say no.

yeah lets drill that down
on a scale of 1-10 10 being you want really bad.

10 you would have a console

1 you would not have a console and maybe might buy the game if you were borde and it was on sale.

betwwen 1 and 10 where is the 'amazingness' of this whole technology?

so the only people who are going to be major Gaga over this are people who want between 1-3 console exclusives...just right on that edge margin of buying a console but not exactly doing those.

that is it...that is the oh my god mega market I cant believe these companies are so amazingly awesome to PC gamers..

really?

There is no misconception. What you have stated is knowledge I have already acquired. If Sony were to step into the PC gaming market we could see an interesting sway in competition. If they choose to ignore Microsoft's advancements then in my opinion then it's just a missed opportunity.

Jesus now you're just coming off as an elitist scum. Oh are you a "hardkur geimr"? You're not even saying PC master race as a joke, which it is by the way.

And again no sane PC gamer with a functioning brain is going to buy an underpowered "PC" just to play 3 or 4 exclusives if they can just have it on the PC and be done with it.

Xbox one sales have slowed and more and more people are preferring PC gaming so microsoft is transitioning Xbox Live into Windows 10 which was the whole point of Windows 10. I am not going to pay $50 a year and $300 on a console, "Often in many countries the cost is $500 or more for the console when you include international shipping and vat and import duty. Plus $50

Who in their right mind is just going to throw away upwards of $550 USD down the drain?

I think in the end the platform or the platform openness is not the major deal. the major deal is the games.

The way i see it (to be completely frank here) is that Microsoft is doing this 100% because sales are not as good as they would like and they would like to increase that marginally by capturing a few PC gamers who might buy an exclusive that they otherwise would not

right but what is that margin? and where is the tipping point EXACTLY...is it 1 exclusive? 2-4? because its being delisonal to thinking PC gamers dont buy consoles is not being very well tapped into the gaming community. there is a tipping point where a PC gamer WILL buy a console as hasl and they do and its common place.
