Valve "Logo Animation"
Idk, just wondering why Valve chose a marginally creepy "Logo Animation" e.g. at the startup of Portal 2. This post is not important at all but I was just curious. :steamhappy:

Artistic way of saying "open your mind", and includes a reference to the company itself(a valve).

I don't know why they changed from the still image to the one where the actor turns around. Seems redundant.

The Mr. Valve, also known as "The Valve Guy", is the nickname used on two mascots for those introductory logos seen at the start of their games.

One has an eye replaced with a valve.

The other has a valve in the back of the head.

It comes from the first launch of "Half-life" and "The Orange Box".

There's also "GoldSrc Demo", which is an animation of Mr. Valve getting the valve placed into his head at a forge/workshop.

Then Left 4 Dead, Dota 2, Portal 2, and CS:GO also uses this same logo animation.

Yes, I know that, but my question is why did they make the image flicker, along with creepy music? It seems kinda unnessecary.
