I still dont understand why people want WW2 shooters

some years ago the market was bloated with WW2 shooters,and we still have a load of good ones still,like H&G;COD:WAW(+All cods before 4),MoH(AA,PA,Airborne),BF1942(43 and its several expansions),Red Orchestra(and Rising storm),and the most important out all of these,the DoD franchise,like really,and there are upcoming ones like Battalion 1944,Days of War,and hell,even if it is not FPS,we still have WW2 games like:War Thunder,World of Tanks,World of warcrafts,world of warships and a load more!

and btw,people called for innovation back at the past,people were tired of Boots on the Ground,just that you didn't experience it doesn't mean you have the rights to take their fun,game devs listen to gamers,and we are always wanting more,lets give them a break,because WW2 shooters arent fun anymore,we need to innovate,or else ♥♥♥♥ wont go anywhere.

Not many people playing, game gets boring real quick, stuff like that. I don' t remember, it was a while back when I was reading their forum and I came to the conclusion not to buy it. That's why I said read the forum to that other person before buying!

I don't remember the name, but I think there is one in development. It was either about the american revolution or the civil war, and there's another one in production by the creators of M&B napoleonic wars which is about the civil war.

that's it precisely, plus going over the top of the trenches, getting machine gunned down, blown up by artillery, and shot by snipers. ww1 is one of the most boring and brutal wars out there.

For vietnam I cant imagine napalming jungle is very exciting. But for that its just another infantry combat game?

Vietnam War wasn't just dropping napalm.. :/ It was very tactical with the choppers and dropping infantry in the middle of enemy territory!

Nope, I like historical accuracy in my historical wargames. Hell I don't play many of the "hurr hurr this is supposed to be how it really is" wargames because of it. Did my stint in Afghanistan, those games are full of crap.

Well, it's pretty fun. I stopped, since it made me rage too much. There was also a lack of high playerbase, which gave it a less intense feel during fighting.

Yeah but if youve played any game with transport choppers you'll know theyre not fun, theyre the least fun part. Re wws Vietnam war movies are usually fairly depressing lol.

Maybe because people are getting a little fatigued of how many futuristic themed video games are coming out? Besides, WW2 was a giant historical moment in human history. The axis powers vs the allies; Evil vs. Good. Nowadays, it seems most of the futuristic video games are about shooting a bunch of terrorists.

when i played WAW games it was diffrent than todays more copy and pasted multiplayer based "QUICKSCOPE MLG 32142342134" Bs..... you know, yah i played multiplayer on them but it was diffrent, yah online was new like very new and it was fun, no kids screaming, no immatrue dicheads,no stupid MLG sh*t at all, it was pure, and the campain's were quite amazing, i actualy felt like a war-hero in the games, yah i know i wast like at Iwo-jima (i cant spell ♥♥♥♥ me) but i felt it, or like when fighting as the russians on the eastern fronts, i felt that sence of heroism,bravery,badassey(idk if that be in it) fighting in it, nowdays it doesnt have any feel's like that, it just feels, generic, we need to kill this terrroist....etc your friend dies....you end up saving the day and secruing stuff, but it doesnt have that sence of heroism we rember, just feels generic... more multiplayer focoused "MLG BS"....And the weapons are all more just "BANGBANGBANGBANG AR's" some of us still love that bolt action M1-grand,SKS, the reloading and satasfaction of pulling that bolt back to shoot again with the bullet like "PUGHA" or someting like that, the trenchguns just pumping it, so satasfying, also bayonates...ohhhhh so satasfying when you charge and got someone.....oh satasying.......so yah.
Thats why some of us want World-War games back.....Or atleast my say in the matter...
