Asked this before, got no help
for a while now this domain sync 1rx io (removed dots so its not clickable) I have no clue where its from and i cant seem to find the domain itself by searching the link. after the link mostly has /usersync2/rubicon on the end. Somebody please help as my virus scanner does not pick up a virus, also please dont fix the link yourself i just want to know if somebody knows what could make this happen

If you don't need to click the link just don't click it. It's not as if you're required to do so, right?

No but id like to know what its causing the link to pop up on my scanner. I only have youtube open or am playing games so i dont know the origin and im definetly not going there on purpose, im worried that the moment my virus scanner doesent boot for once and the link does get accessed, that all my personal data might just be out there. so i'd rather have a confirmation as to wether its just an ad site thing or if its an genuine problem

Really? You couldn't find ANY info? As, I am looking at a ton of it.

That is owned by Burst Media. It's is an ad agency. I even have all kinds of lists of the detected and undetected files that get downloaded from the collection of URLs this domain is generating.

Boot into Safe, run Mbam, and then your AV.

Thank you, I googled the first part of the link and only found Sony RX stuff, what is Mbam by the way? also these are still harmless files right? theres nothing that is just sending out my password or keylogging my stuff?

Maywarebyte's Anti-malware. Great free program.

I would imagine them to be just adware tracking cookies, but always better to be safe.
