Oh, this reminds me, I'm supposed to make sure I spread the message to Pokemon GO players: Do NOT attempt to enter railyards while playing this game!!!

Seriously, Tulsa just picked up a couple of kids who tried to get in the yard because there was some sort of important thing there. There as a whole big stink about it, the company is trying to get the manufacturers to move the spot, and we all got a lecture.

The reasons you wouldn't want to go into a railyard should be obvious, but I know some people think trains aren't going to be fast enough to hit them. These people could not be more wrong. When a 144-ton locomotive or three couples into a cut of cars, it can move the whole thing several feet, causing people to fall from whatever they are climbing through or just outright crushing them.

You do not want to get run over by a train. There is a very high chance of it being a very horrible death or injury because those cars weigh so much, and exert so much pressure, that they will clamp a wound closed with your own skin. That means you don't bleed out, and whatever bit of you is alive, if any, is going to stay that way far longer than it normally would.

Next, many people don't know it but we have our own police force and our yards are wired up with cameras all over the place. We use them to monitor work and check the status of tracks, but they are also DEFINITELY going to catch you sneaking in. Then our police arrest you for trespassing, and you or your parents face a hefty fine once you get out of jail.
