Suggestions for Doom Mods

Anyone have any suggestions for some cool Doom mods? I’ve started looking into those and there are just so many it’ll be hard to find some good ones. I’m looking more for completely new single player modes with classic or new weapons as opposed to enhancements for Ultimate Doom or Doom 2 but I’ll accept those too. So far I’ve gotten these:

Unloved
Ultimate Torment & Torture
Brutal Doom v20b
Brutal Doom Hell On Earth Starter Pack
Castlevania Simons Destiny

Any suggestions for some cool horror type or action packed mods or just anything fun in general would be appreciated. (And please provide links to the mods with your suggestions.) I’ll keep researching more myself in the meantime but these suggestions will help.

I have a few.

- Golden souls (1[www.doomworld.com] and 2[forum.zdoom.org]): basically a "what if Nintendo made Doom" total conversion. The first one is good, the second one is excellent. Though the jumping can be a little awkward at times.\

- Hellshots golf[forum.zdoom.org]: turns Doom into a golf game, not much else to say other than it's unique.

- Total Chaos: A survival horror TC that will blow you away with how detailed it is. It hardly resembles Doom.

- Happy Time Circus (1[www.doomworld.com] and 2[www.doomworld.com]): A horror-ish map set in a carnival with some interesting enemies.

- ACS arcade[www.doomworld.com]: A small mod containing some simple arcade games.

- Dead Air[www.doomworld.com] and Dead Wire[www.doomworld.com]: Two interesting horror-esc maps

-Blade of Agony[boa.realm667.com]: A Wolfenstien total conversion that looks and plays like a more modern Wolfenstien game.

- Void and Rainbow[www.doomworld.com]: Loosely based on the classic Void[www.doomworld.com] wad, It's a very nice looking map that has some platforming involved.

Single and co op. Full 30 level wads as if you were playing the original games.

Don't you guys support "Brutal Doom". Sgt.MarkIV is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. He was pissed, because people actually played "Project Brutality" more than his mod and used his campaign for that. So he decided that it's a good idea to play a little magic inside his code and make the game freeze and then crash. (The system checks in the background whether a particular item ID exists in the mod.) So yeah ... what a whiny pathetic boy that is.

So: I suggest "Project Brutality". It's for Brutal Doom what Arkham City was for Arkham Asylum.

Again thank you everyone for all the suggestions. I’ve been researching a lot of mods lately and have found some pretty good ones. And all these suggestions have given me some good leads. But I have one more request. I am now starting to research for new map packs. And I mean just plain old vanilla doom map packs like Ultimate Doom or Doom 2. And preferably ones that are standalone that don’t require having Ultimate Doom or Doom 2 in order to play. I’m just looking for some new maps to play some of my weapons mods with. And yes I know I can pretty much load any mods with them but I just want to find ones that are plain vanilla maps with no new weapons or enemies. Most of the mods I find are pretty much weapon packs or entirely new games. I’m looking for something more traditional to play my weapon mods with. And again standalone map packs are preferred. I want to be able to see the wads in the Wads list when I open GZDoom Like Castlevania Simons Destiny. Any suggestions? I’ll keep researching myself in the meantime but suggestions will help.

Seems like a fair move to me. If someone stole something I’d made and used it without permission, I’d probably do something similar.

If it was without permission, then yeah, technically it is. I wouldn’t want someone using something I made without permission, in the same way someone who does fan art for a show, movie or game doesn’t want people using their art without permission.
