Have you ever had a paranormal experience (objects moving around without a trace, figures in hallways, etc)
I haven't had one.

Of course, this question applies if you believe in the paranormal, I used to watch Ghost Adventures, i'm now paranoid of a ghost haunting me all the time, but maybe that's just me.

Yes, i know there are other threads that have the same question, but most of them are old, probably dead. etc, i just wanted to shed some light on the topic.

quoting this because it's actually a little dumb

1) people often think of themselves as better than they are; and we aren't different, and you aren't different
2) people are often dumb; and we're all people
3) things that can't fit into "their little box" refers to what, things we actually know via science or things people shoehorn into their worldview despite their being no evidence for and no way to falsify (ghosts)
4) immediately deciding creaky noises are ghosts rather than plumbing is dismissing reality out of hand, and the basis for many a tedious ghost story i've sat through. it is leaping to a conclusion. dismissing something as unproven is not leaping to a conclusion, it is waiting for one. to happen. it would be nice. life is about surprises.
5) what is this liberal establishment ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
6) here's a derogatory label: "classical liberal"

edit: 6 was a joke. "A little dumb" and a few other bits are uncharitable, but conciseness and brevity don't lend themselves to politeness, and I'm all about the lowercase low-effort "hey guys I'm annoying". it's part of my brand

1. Not relevant

2. Not relevant

3. A. Explain to us what science "knows" about the subject that allows people to make a claim of knowledge that it's not real. I think we'd all love to the scientific studies which conclude that "ghosts are not real" so can you provide us some links to them?

B. What other people shoehorn into their world view has no bearing on what other people summarily dismiss because it doesn't fit into theirs.

4. The only person claiming "creaky noises are ghosts", immediately or two weeks later, is.... it's nobody.... except you. And who is"waiting for a conclusion"? The entire point of at least my post is that a conclusion has been reached already - "ghosts are not real". This is the same mistake gnostic atheists make when they posit that God is not real.

5. It's called reinforcing a point by using a familiar example that everybody understands. I just did the same thing again in 4. I figured it'd be best to point it out now instead of having to explain it to you later.

If I'm being haunted then I'm being haunted by an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because they keep knocking over any bags of chips in the house
I had a friend a long time ago that tried to tell me he had a bag of weed that was so good it literally moved around in the bag under it's own power. So, I don't know. Maybe it's not a ghost at all and you've just got some really good chips.
Yes , I have one time there is a light in the sky shaped like an archer. Seen it with my father, it's bright gold and flies like a bird.
I was sleeping when suddenly i woke up followed by a very weird sound. A few seconds later i heard a few footsteps and a windlike sound(i was alone atm so i jumped out of my bed preparing to see intruder but house was empty (i jumped out so i can protect my pc) but something was out of order. I got back to bed and 2h later i woke up and it was really cold. I stood up and check home again but i didnt found anything but again i had a strange feeling that somethings not right. I went to the toilet and when i flipped the light switch nothing happened. During my time in toilet i stepped on something hot and watery. Confused o went to bed. When i woke up i saw a puddle on the floor. It was coming from the boiler. Looks like the heater inside it died while i was sleeping causing fuze box to shut down one by one(fuze) that created footsteps effect. Since the power was gone my dryer which was working at the time case windlike sound since it was shutting down. Then the radiators in home stopped heating aswell so whole house got cold since it was winter and for the light i dont need to explain :)
I bought a $30 innovative game, and it only became a total unplayable garbage.
When I was like 10 years old I was walking down a dimly lit dirt road, alone, in the middle of no where, trying to get to my grandparents house. It was pitch black to my sides and the forest around me was thick so you couldn't see far.

I was so scared the whole way but just when I was going to turn to the last part of the road I saw the shadow of a person on a bicycle on the ground drive toward me, past me, and the way I came from. Of course I didn't see a person on a bicycle and the road itself was only used by my parents and grandparents.

I don't think I've ever ran so fast in my life, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the memories still haunts me! :O
I don't discount ghosts may exist, I've just never seen any evidence myself, and in situations where people I was with also saw these things happen while I was there, it was complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and everyone just going along with things they didnt see.

On top of my personal lack of seeing evidence of any ghosts, I have a hard time believing that ghosts can travel through walls and across the world, but all happen to stay in run down creepy looking houses like they're contained by man made structures.

Plus the amount of people who've existed in the world, and in countries in Europe and middle East and Asia that have been settled for thousands of years, with cities built on top of razed cities, there should be ghosts in every square inch of the world, and especially in these countries.

Why do they all contain themselves to only still standing buildings, and seemingly only come out when its dark?

Like I said, I don't discount they exist. But in today's day and age, with the amount of population on earth today, and the amount who've existed, there should be way more than enough tangible pieces of evidence of ghosts wandering the earth, not a bunch of abandoned houses in that are supposedly haunted and out of focus pictures
I used to think something kept moving my stuff around when I was younger, then I just learned I am incredibly absent minded.
One Halloween night i was walking down the street when i came across an alleyway that stretched as far as the eye can see. That is when i noticed a white draped figure standing in the middle of the alleyway about 2 blocks down. I had informed two ladies walking by about what i was seeing and they seemed to be more scared than curious. I was convinced as much as the ladies were that it was something paranormal.
Hearing attic door slammed shut, thing is it was locked with padlock. Was not the only one hearing this so rules out some random brainfart.

You would be amazed at the weirdness that prevails after being awake for 72 hours or after 2 days without water. (Nitrous oxide can be quite fun as well, but that's another story).

Excluding involuntary self induced psychosis, no I haven't seen anything "paranormal "
