issue with epic games launcher please help

so a few weeks ago this happened out of nowhere, whenever i open the launcher its like im not signed in, i cant see my friends nor the games i own, and if i go to the store the pictures of the games wont load and if i click on fortnite on the store page only a small part of the pages loads and wont load anything else, i can open fortnite by going to the game's files and open it through there but no through the launcher since its literally unusable, now i cant open fortnite anymore because theres an update and i cant update it due to the launcher not letting me do anything. please help me.

And in addition to that: what makes you think anybody here on Steam welcomes somebody from the Epic Faction with open arms when they've got a problem with ... well, the Epic Store - the same storefront which aggressively buys games for their store and annoys the hell out of the people?

try contact EPIC support, its their launcher, their problem. same goes for problems with Fortnite, their game, their problem, talk to their support.

then you wait for their support, and then you complain to their support about the lack of forums to allow users to communicate and assist each other in fixing issues.

Unfortunately, it's not possible for the Steam Community to provide an useful answer to your question for the following reasons:

1. Said launcher does not have any sort of official forum, where the makers of the launcher post updates or known bugs and their temporal solutions.

2. Apparently, the developers don't have any sort of direct contact with the community and therefore, it's hard for the community to investigate and help with useful answers.

3. It seems that the Epic Games Launcher has a Support Team and as I said above, they don't want or are not ready to have a helpful community. If this is correct, you should contact them about this issue.

Some "generic" recommendations I can give:
- Restart your computer and the launcher
- Make sure your PC is up-to-date. Download and install important Windows updates
- Reinstall the launcher

then welcome to the old times i had with consoles where you read on an internet report that you needed to skip parts of 2-2 in super paper mario because early versions of the game had a bug with the npc there that would cause a crash if you talked with her more than once

or luigis mansion where the pal version couldnt get an A rank villa unless you played in the mirrored mansion because of some bs that never got fixed

im glad these times where you were screwed if you had a problem are over , but i guess people using epic want to relive them
