Anyway what's the point in giving such a character an age?
Did you really ever wonder how old characters were while playing Sonic 1 on the Mega Drive? This is what Snic should be forever, so I think it would be more interesting to know why the hell Sega felt the need to tell how old is he rather than why they deleted this info now.
I can understand that maybe for the creators it can be helpful to establish this kind of info while designing a character, but once the job is done depending on what kind of character it is it would be better to just forget about that info and leave it behind.
