Why are there a lot of white knights on Steam?

Yet, a lot of them are sexually harassing a female user for having a picture of herself, randomly gifting her free games await to be accepted, promoting her for being hot, and... boy... using hacks to cheat on her achievement.

To be honest, this made me want to give up on the internet. I mean, I like women. But c'mon guys. You're like desperate men bowing to Marilyn Monroe who gets rejected every minute. The white knighting will never end! This is outrageous!

Oh, one last thing. Why do you always have to defend when she's talking smack to someone who doesn't bother her and siding with her most of the time? I bet your fathers never taught you how to be a man.

A white knight is actually someone who attempts to protect another.

For example: They might attempt to prevent a kid being cyberbullied, a hacker infecting a pc, a girl getting harassed, or a raid group attacking someone streaming. They warn the victim, help and tell them how to avoid getting attacked.

So this topic doesn't even make sense: A white knight doesn't go about sexually harassing a female, but rather prevents others from doing that. The only reason you would complain about them is if you where the attacker being blocked.

No. 5 is the one I've seen most often. When someone is being forum stomped(usually brought on themselves), and someone takes pity and tries to defend.

I didn't know the thing about throwing free stuff at a "female" gamer was also called white knight. I thought that was just usual desperate basement dweller virgin behaviour.

But, to be honest, what I'm seeing from here is some of you are contradicting this argument saying my thread doesn't make sense by pointing it out wrong. There's nothing wrong about it. They're some facts that some of you are white knights and promoting white knighting because "getting free stuffs is better than paying."Wow...

I'm not a white knight. But I'm mad because of your lack of knowledge. You all lack knowledge, you failed to listen to what other people are telling you instead be hypercritical about their flaws and how negative they were, and play the body guard. Yet, you got screwed later on and that's your downfall.

Feel free to call me ignorant. I'm not. Pressuring me won't trigger it because I'm really calmed, and I won't put up with any fights. Sure I'll read your opinions but if it's nonsense, then I will ignore and unscribe this thread.

Assuming I'm correct, I take the word "harassing" as insulting her for being a disgrace (This is the nicest word I could think as an alternative to four-letter-starts-with-s-ends-with-t), then you said
