Far Cry Blood Dragon
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
Shadow of Mordor
Especially when the motto is telling you to be a badass.
Devil May Cry: haven't looked into that one yet.
Far Cry: Blood Dragon ... I love the Far Cry series, and blood dragon is HILARIOUS to me (having been a teenager during the 80s, I get all the jokes), but the actual blood dragons (in the nest, defending the eggs) kicked my ass. I gave it up.
MGR: I was a HUGE fan of Metal Gear Solid back about 15 years ago, but haven't checked out the more recent games. I've heard some good things, though.
Shadow of Mordor: absolute yes. It's a great game.
Borderlands 2 ... no. just no. BL2 is my most played game with over 200 hours, but I've just come off a TVHM run, and while it finished pretty well, UVHM is a mindless grind. It's like wearing down Mt. Chomolungma with a nail file.
STALKER/SoC is a very atmospheric game (and has a LOT that I LOVE), but the bad guys are bullet sponges, and tbh, I'm 45: my aim ain't what it used to be. I just couldn't get into it. Takes a bit more skill than I've got.
The new doom looks beautiful, but I might be getting to old to play fast-paced games like that.
Once you eat that power pill, nothing whatsoever can touch you.
In Borderlands, MG, Saints Row etc. you can still be killed.
To be honest I hate that feeling of being OP and I'm always trying to fix it with mods, I just like the feeling of overcoming apparently insurmountable odds.
Funny, I was just about to mention that one.
Doom I would assume?
Tomb Raider
Assasins Creed
Shadow Warrior
Dragon Age
Two Worlds
Witcher
Bioshock
F.E.A.R
*edited.. I may not be doing this right, I feel like a B.A. in all my games.
True to a point. The one thing I like about Bethesda RPGs is that it's optional to become powerful. You can control ye'self, and keep everything as a challenge, even without mods. Mods just makes it even better.
