Spongebob is bad for children.
According to New York Times, Spongebob throw's kid's Common Sense in the dumpster, plus it has offending scenes, and offending backwards messages (According to youtube), it also makes their education low... If I were a parent I would simply make them watch another show, like Gravity Falls because Gravity Falls has a great storyline, and it teaches us lesson's plus the character's treat each other like a team, Some Cartoon Network shows also have some situations where kid's can start acting right, though the only thing I would not watch if I were you would be Teen Titans Go, and Uncle Grandpa, I'd rather watch regular show, steven universe and Gumball instead... SPONGEBOB IS THE STUPIDEST SHOW EVER... well if you count ren and stimpy, 2ND STUPIDEST SHOW EVER!!!

Why school?

Eh, it's just a TV show. That's why you as a parent have to teach your kid some sense, not leave it up to a cartoon to teach them everything.

Besides, many cartoons and TV shows for kids and TONS of Disney movies will have hidden messages and "illuminati" and ♥♥♥♥ like that. Spongebob is just one of the bunch.

There's a reason it's called television "programming". Just as there's a reason it's nicknamed the "b00b-tube" or the "idiot box".

I call it the tele-vizier, because that's its function and the root words are the same. Just like the king's vizier, his "most trusted", its job is to whisper in your ear, night and day, counselling or "programming" you.

Seer=Vizier=Wizard. Television is the world's greatest exsiting Wizard. His spells reach millions, billions of people, all over the globe, keeping them spellbound, while they rest for a spell after work, etc.

The word "spell" comes from a very old word which meant simply "to speak". To the original users, if you were speaking, you were "spelliing", i.e. casting a spell. It's "air magic", in that his words travel from the idiot box to your ears, vibrations in the air or "aether".

I feel like someone just told me I was too stupid to watch T.V. lest it enchant me with the "Feeble Mind" spell. I didn't know my T.V. was a Wizard or Sorcerer with access to fifth level spells. I thought it was a high level Ranger.

Spongbob didn't make kids worse off. The continued dumbing down of everything to make it more accessible to the masses does that. No kid left behind, so all the kids fail together.

My favorite Spongebob episode was Band Geeks.

All the others were mediocre compared to it, the cartoon has never honestly been one of my favorite cartoons, not when there was so much more to choose from. Only watched it when reruns were on the other channels.

Like I said TV is stupid... GET A WII OR SOMETHING!!! because in video games you can control it, in TV though you just watch it and see what happens THATS IT! ALL YOU DO IS WATCH AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!! so get a wii or some other gaming console... because can you tell commercials to stop? NO can you have it end like you wanted it to? NO do you choose which episodes to air? NOOOOO in video games your the controller. not some guy who operates stupid TV shows like uh... Teen Titans Go (According to me... Teen Titans go turned out NOT to be our new favorite show...) Spongebob (Gets appreciated too many times, especially since he won FRICKEN KID'S CHOICE AWARDS 13 YEARS IN A ROW... CURSE THAT SPONGE!!!)

Also, don't most channels have a website where they let you watch whatever episodes of whatever show you want these days anyways? Don't even need a DVR anymore.

The tinfoil is strong in this thread. Bill Cipher is literally just based on the dollar bill. The creator knew his design would make tools scream, "luminatee!" -sarcasm on- Uncle Grandpa is totally illuminati mind programming, that's why they cancelled it. -sarcasm off- While it is true that the media is often used to change the way we think, the same could be said for schools and colleges. A lot of universities are extremely Far Left, going so far as to promote socialism/communism and fly red flags. If anything I'd say the media is more of a tool for distraction than for brainwashing, although disinformation abounds on the air.

Personally I'm more afraid of music than I am of television. They've got it down to a science and they know which sounds cause your brain to release dopamine. When you listen to modern pop music you're basically overdosing on dopamine and I think that's a big part of why people are so stupid nowadays. Then take into account the lyrics are usually purposely vague and obscured to the point where you can't consciously understand them yet they get burned into your subconscious. A lot of the time you hear the same buzz words in multiple songs, because the scientists behind modern pop music know which words will do what to your brain.

I only use my TV to wach illegally downloaded anime and some halo2 every month or so. And if they say spongin make you stupider, then blame the parents for leaving the kid in a situation like that.
