Gamer Dating - Warning: Odd topic and question for a Steam post.

Okay, so i have been puzzling with a question for the last few days,
done some Googleing but haven't found much help with this.
And yes, it's not very relevant to Steam, and yet it is.

If ones time is spent more time online and on computers, yet looking for love, where does one go?
And even more so, where does one go if ones social skills is less then... a ship wreck (or what ever metaphor you like to use)???

It's a genuine question btw.
There aren't much help to get on websites like Match.com or the like.
And i haven't come across any "Dating" sites for gamers.

So where does one go? (like me)

I mean, i can't go about using Steam, because the community would shut down the post faster then i can write it.
Heck, the Moderators might even shut down this post before most can get a chance to read this.

The reason i write in Steam is because of the amount of people and mature ones at that too.
I'm sure that, while i might not get many replies,
i'm sure there are many social outcasts out there wondering the same thing.
Where would people like us go?

I'm not saying i'm looking for love, but who knows, maybe there is someone sweet
out there near Denmark willing to at least play a few games with me.

So anyone with the actual knowledge, either Add me as friend or reply here.

Gamer girl in your country, that's a bit tougher than finding one with no country requirements.

People who date online usually just happen to bump into each other in a game and have chemistry, then it developes from there.

You can probably find some on dating sites but you'll have to read through tons of profiles to find gaming as an interest.

I guess you can always try gamer groups on steam/Facebook or Twitter, and look through members and try approach them from there

Interesting points. But then again, not looking for Love, myself. Just wondering if there really were a centalized place. Turns out there isen't. Bit of a same really.

as long as Rose behaves ???? anyway if you have a common sense of humor it may be enough to start a conversation (chat) then go from there Steam is sort of becoming the new FB free phone calls etc personally i prefer the face to face approach

On a serious note, I don't have much knowledge on this. You could go to some forums (I wouldn't do that personally), conventions, or wherever gamers get together. It's not rare for females to play video games and are not usually a total sausage fest.

Or you could get yourself a tolerant girlfriend and introduce her to video games.
