More Twitch questions.
I'm getting pretty close to being set up for Twitch streaming. However, I need to know what would be a good mic to use. I ordered the Sennheiser Game One headphones after trying the new Elite Pro from Turtle Beach (which is only good for comfort....the audio was actually worse than the $80 pair that I have used for years) and I hear that it's just an all around good set. So I'm wondering if I'll be okay with using the mic with that or if I'll need a professional grade one to sound good. If so, which mics would be great to use? Money is luckily not a problem but if I can get great quality for cheaper that'd be awesome. I'm not sure if this would quite matter but if you guys also know a good USB audio interface to go with the suggested mic that would also be helpful.

I have concerns on how subscribing and tipping starts assuming you're locked out of that for a certain period of time/certain amount of viewers. I'd also like to know if I really need a green screen and how I can make a custom intro/outro (although I'm sure I'll just need an animator for that) and how to customize my display layout. The last thing I would like to know is if it's possible to recover my account without having to give an IP address. I've given multiple and it's a very stupid way of verifying that you are you since not all IP addresses stick. I can google pretty much all of this I'm sure but I have a hard time deciding, I cannot get ahold of support until tomorrow and asking those of you who've already had experience will help so much better. Thank you everyone! :steamhappy:

The mic I prefer and is quite popular is the blue yeti; but to keep in mind is that if you have a super great exspensive mic in a bad inviroment like in an open room where the sound is all over the place it will sound like a cheep mic if lucky it could sound decent. VS a cheep mic in a sound proofed room can sound like a dream.

The mic is not the deciding factor to keep in mind but is a luxury. if sound proofing is over your head or is too much of a hassle, a great mic can hide that with some tweaks in the settings.
Hope you do well in your streams and hope this helps a bit.
Any help you can send me a friend request and will be happy to help.

If your budget is tight, just make use of your Headset Mic for now.
Save up and add those more expensive parts to enhance your streaming later on, as you go.
Cause for one thing (and this happens alot) is that you might start out on Twitch and just not like it after a while. Use your cheaper parts you already have to figure this out before you go investing in "quality audiophile" equipment.

Do a couple test streams where you just record the output to local file and not live; then play around with settings, your mic setup, volumes, etc... Then playback your files and learn from mistakes and adjust as you go. Better then jumping on and streaming live, only to have issues and someone watching you while you have those issues and then they dont come back.

Sure, you will have various issues along the way, that is a given. But there are many ways non-Live you can do tests with your setup to help you figure out what could be wrong or to your dislike from the start and allow you to work-around the more simpler issues before you jump in LIVE.

Also give this a look, I think you'll find it helpful (also for anyone wanting to live-stream, or who is new to it) > https://www.twitch.tv/burkeblack/v/3672308

I already gave you a thanks on Twitch but I don't want to look like a jerk on Steam and anyone who helps is always really appreciated by me so thanks again man. Hopefully I'll be able to repay most or at least some who help me get started and help me through the experences. I shot a friend request for you if you're interested in me letting you know when I'm fully set up and what account I'll use. If not, no problem. And I could still use advice for those of you who might think I'm fine now. With a big leap like this, any tips and information is great. :steamhappy:
