Need help with port forwarding

I wanted to post a question like this somewhere else but I wasn't sure where to post so i'm gonna just post it here.My question is i'm trying to port forward Black ops 3 but everytime I try to apply the settings I get a error and i'm not sure why.Also i'm on the xbox one so im trying to port forward the 3074 port.If you need more information tell me i'm bot sure I will reed it tonight because it is 3:20 AM and im getting tired.

Also i'm using a arris router if that helps.

Can you provide the serial number for that router?

What is the actual text of the error you are receiving?

Does this error occur when you actually click on an "apply" button in the router configurartion?

Does the browser you are using to access the gateway configuration settings page (typically something like http://192.168.0.1) from allow cookies and scripts from that domain?

The MAC of the device you are connecting to the router from, does this have administrative access privilege to the router? Some routers can be set to blacklist or whitelist such access by MAC

the tex error just says oops there was a error click here to use your browsers back button to fix it

Hey there's nothing like necro-ing an ancient thread but I want anyone else who finds this on the internet to see what worked for me. I just had this same issue, with the exact same router model, and what seemed to make the difference for me was only using a single word as the description for the port forward, with no spaces. That single detail made the difference between it erroring with no explanation and working.

another fix you can try is setting your DMZ host as your IP good job on reviving a thread I forgot even existed though
