The Olympics should stop sexualizing women.
Let's face it. The outfits women wear during the events are downright revealing, whereas men are held to a different standard by their mandated attire. It's ridiculous to use foreign women's assets as a method to market these games to couch potato Americans, and quite frankly, something should be done about it.

I can't appreciate these games because of the damage that they do to gender equality, and the constant, draining over-sexualization of women has, at this point, become a cheap marketing device for the games. Nobody should tolerate that.

I find it hard to take your argument about Olympic attire seriously.

Sexy!
They are not objects, they are athletes and they deserve to be thought of as more than "sexy".
They should just go back to the original Greek Olympic attire: hot wax and a smile. For all athletes.
I'm guessing you also go around trying to censor videogames where you can see any form of skin on a woman.
All you are doing is advocating taking the choice from indivdual people too express themselves and one's sexuality.

Offense is always taken never given....
This is the Off Topic forum on a video game client. If you're trying to promote awareness, feminism, or whatever the hell this is, then you are in the wrong place.

Yes. It isn't right for video games to depict half-naked women for "games" that small children have access too. Frankly, it's offensive to parents, women, and young children because often the animated woman's groin is so well defined that it leaves little to the imagination. It only further contributes to the corruption of older children and leads to addictive behavior and pornographic obsession. These can't be tolerated in a civilized society.

But it's women that are being sexualized.
Men are also sexualized, you are correct, but to an extremely lesser degree. The fact that women are treated like performance objects based on their skin and apparel is wrong. Women have been oppressed for centuries, and this should not be tolerated.

Oh yes becuase its not like the men wear spedos or anything like that, the men wear revealing clothing as well but for some reason people get less triggered about it.
At least it isn't in ancient Greek, where they all strip naked in front of everyone, in the sun, and play whatever sport.
