Does anyone actually play with inverted controls? lmao
So many games I play always give a promt for "Would you like to invert mouse?"
Does anyone here actually do this? Just doesn't seem logical to me lol

I do it with controllers when piloting aircraft, and only because I'm used to it. Mouse, though? Never.

I never use it for FPS games but sometimes on the Xbox or PS3 I do and in some games it forces you to have invetred controls for piloting like Just Cause 2.

Never but you would be surpised how many play with weird control schemes including me and even I'm surprised how so many play FPS with a controller.

Never really considered the control aspect of it actually, Even during my short, regretful time on Xbox I still played with regular view, but that must have stemmed from my PC time prior to that.

Flight I do understand, my vertical axis flying is usually inverted but I forgot to mention this was generally aimed at shooters ^^

Back when I played on console, yeah. I played with inverted look for a couple of years - the first FPS I played had inverted look by default, I got used to it and never bothered to change it.

In third person with a controller I have to be inverted. I don't know why. Normal axis is fine if using a mouse.

I think I'm just so used to using the controler like a flight stick that I can't play any other way. If the control is not inverted I ALWAYS go the wrong way until I get frustrated and change it.

it's acceptable for flying planes, because in real life planes joystick are "inverted" as well

On console, yes. If i can invert the Y axis, I will.
TunaNut 8/ago./2016 às 17:09
ok i dont know what that means but when i move my mose "down" or towards me, my character looks up. When i move it "up" or away from me, my character looks down... am i weird?

Yeah basically. Well from what I've learnt from this thread it's normal for console players but foreign to PC players (in shooters/FPS games). You move your mouse up, your character looks down, you move your mouse right, your character looks left.

but for me its only on the y axis not x

In FPS games, I invert my up and down. in third person I don't. just feels natural somehow. but I'll admit, if I play too much third person, like GTAV, it takes me a second to re-adjust.

and I dont do that controller ♥♥♥♥. mouse4lyfe
