Firefox freezes when I go on YouTube?

So, whenever I go to the YouTube website, Firefox sits there for a few seconds and I can't click anything, then it stops responding, then it goes back to normal with me not being able to click things again, then a message pops up and it says

(Box's title) Warning: Unresponsive script

(Text inside of box) A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

Then a checkmark option box that has Don't ask me again next to it

Then three buttons that say Continue, Debug script, and then a box with a blue outline that says Stop script.

When I click stop script it does nothing like usual, when I click debug script it opens up some code box thing at the bottom or something that I don't understand, and then Continue just does nothing. All three end in the same way. Me not being able to close the firefox window and not being able to use the firefox icon to right click and then close it, resulting in me having to end it with task manager. Anyone know how you fix this? I don't really want to uninstall Firefox unless I have to because I have a bunch of bookmarks that I won't be able to remember them all.

Probably an outdated/broken add-on.

Clean out your cookies, and delete some history, ushualy clears up A BUNCH and gives you more operating room, or just go indigo, that ushaly prevents cookies. normaly the cookies lag up my firefox

Thanks. Apparently YouTube Control Center was outdated or broken. Damn. Was really hoping that wasn't it.
