well , lot's of games have been ported between these systems ... lot's of PC first games been ported to consoles or mobile ...

what do you call Max Payne on android ? a low brow entertainment just because it's on mobile ?

Doom , yeah ... even the original Doom at the time was on every consoles that could run it , even the snes.

A computer game does not simply become a video game because it has been ported.
If you play on PC you are playing computer games.
If you play on a Nintendo console you are playing a video game. That's it.
It's that simple.

I started gaming on the old n.e.s back in the late 80's or early 90's ... no one I knew cared about putting games into this sort of categories back then.

all video games where just video games reguardless of where we played them , be it a large white 486 computer , a 16 bit console or a battery eating gameboy.
