Why do RPG games have to be so oversimplified nowadays?
I miss it when RPGs were complex, incremental, and most of all, immersive. Morrowind, Fallout New Vegas, and Knights of The Old Republic are my personal fav RPG games. I honestly despise Fallout 4 and Skyrim simply because they are designed for people who don't play or like RPG games. I also think the removal of probability rolling (some call it dice rolling, but these are percentages, not dice!) is a major flaw because it takes away the whole point of having stats. I think if Morrowind got made today, people would hate it because of it's mechanics, and all they want to play are hack n slashes. Your thoughts?

Graphics sell, and the better the graphics, the less time you have to develop a good story and side quest. For me, Daggerfall was the ultimate RPG, too bad they never got the bugs fixed back in the day, but I still play older RPG's life Balder's Gate even now.
