Why is sex a taboo topic in video games and some TV?

Why is the inclusion of sex in video games seen as a kind of taboo to the point where some games edit stuff out or promise the world then at the last minute nerf all the stuff that was promised? Is sex really that bad that we can't have it in games?

Also TV is funny you can't show boobs because people seem to freak out over them or go homicidal if a boob is shown, remember the fuss with Janet Jackson at the Superbowl?

Not quite. Doom was pure FPS. This one has combo melee moves.

It gains obvious views over weaker individuals. Just how the media intended. However film and game media are overall less universal and used at a selected audience, sex is not a taboo due to who views it and director intention of an overall message.
