What's the best state in the USA to live in?


In terms of best some criteria:

Best laid out streets and cities
Best public transport and infrastructure, roads, buses, trains, that kind of thing
Best schools and education opportunities

Better to focus not on which State to live in but Which City.

And if you have $$$ then you can live well in just about any state or city within USA.

Avoid large, coastal cities and Chicago/Illinois.

Oh and anything on the Mexico border. Northern parts of border states are cool but don't be within 100 miles (f your km) of mexico.

I think it's more based on the city or town you're going to. Americas pretty huge, there's a lot of variety. Don't get too attached to one state.

Asking Americans is a bad move. The only thing Americans hate more than Americans is Americans who live in a different state from them.

Asking non-Americans is also a bad move. There's nothing non-Americans hate more than Americans.

Best to just do your own research.

Smaller population towns away from the shores are really nice and peaceful. Don't have to lock your doors.

No worries about organized crime.
