Even then, I can't answer.. I'm too indecisive and I don't have enough friends nor know enough about what do other people think to be possibly able to tell, which one is the most underrated one.
pls take your time
and tell us your opinion i feel like you have unique taste
I guess, my taste is unique, but so is everybody else's taste, as they do differ from ours and ours do differ from theirs.

I do strongly believe, this does depend on each person seperately, but most people do underrate genres or types of games that they've never touched.
I'm under the opinion that visual novels, in general, are heavily underrated, because you could just read books, right? At that point, you're paying for images, so why go through all that trouble and not buy some artbooks instead?

Still, I'm indecisive. I can't pick just one.
One of the most underrated games is, without a doubt, S.W.I.N.E., because it's not very popular. The HD version shall be available on Steam, but like I've mentioned in the previous thread, it does no longer feel like the S.W.I.N.E. I have used to play during my childhood, so..
I will just pick some outta the list blindly, all available on Steam and get done with it..

Best, RPGs, I've ever seen. And also tied with Pandora Hearts and Basttard for best story in any medium. Go get them.

This game is a true gem.

Great soundtrack , feedback and missions.

Rises above the generic package . Basically shadow of the colossus of plane games

You take that back now! :AngrySword:
What, why?
I do really feel that way.. That people are so fixated on the community, claiming how the game sucks so hard that it should be removed from Steam entirely, just because of the specific part of the community, including immature players, cheaters, and hackers.

However, I'd like to claim that although what they're claiming is, indeed, valid, it's not good enough to be able to claim that the game is bad.
On the contrary, as the game offers you so many options in the terms of gameplay, some being easier and very rewarding despite bein' easily executed in comparison with the rest of them, and that's exactly it.
The community's not gonna change.. Besides, if you're looking for having a good time, you'll have a good time, no matter to what kind of people you run into.. That is, if you take certain measures, ensuring you a success in advance, like hooking up with friends beforehand and playing together..

My point bein', why'd you be so fixated on the negatives?
All you're doin' is ruining your mood and convincing yourself that you won't have a good time.. And you won't have a good time, unless you change the way you approach it and think about the positives for a change.
Nothing's gonna change by complaining in advance about things that aren't even guaranteed to happen that I'd even go ahead and claim, such approach is simply unreasonable, despite the negative experiences you might've been exposed to.

I can agree that certain experiences are simply hard to forget, some may even take over half of your entire life in the process, but nobody really wants to deal with that kind of stuff once we grow up.
We may become numb to it, not even bothering to care anymore, but that's it, isn't it?
The weight of that matter's no longer bothering us.. or better said, we don't let that to bother us anymore. We've already realized that we wanna live a happier life, that life is too short to have enough time to let it go to waste by holding ourselves down by or with such thoughts..

I can't tell if it was just a joke, but it doesn't feel that way to me.
If that's bein' the case, however, you're free to ignore my entire response.

Day 1 Siege is a completely different game compared to Year 7 Siege. >80% positive reviews is not underrated, especially when a ton of positive reviews actually state that the game isn't a good experience, and they don't enjoy playing it.

That's my problem with Siege; they've taken away the ability to just sit down and enjoy the game without trying too hard. They've taken one of my passions, and destroyed it. Recoil, gadget balance, theme, visuals, playerbase, and maps; all completely altered.

Those negatives are pretty big. 900k Steam reviews, yet how many people still play Siege on Steam? Even a miserable game like Dota 2 has a playercount that reflects the number of reviews. Most of my friends have completely quit the game by now too, even the ones with thousands of hours.

Yes, it was a very different experience for sure.
I, myself, haven't been there since the day one, but I have arrived during the second or third year, lasting for about year and a half.. Then I took about a year break, and here I am.
If they don't enjoy playing it, then that's up to them to stop playing instead of bothering themselves. That's all onto them and we can't do anything about it, but suggest them to stop.

Here, I am having troubles understanding your point.
I don't understand, what could possibly be preventing you from having fun? That players have improved over the years and it feels like you have to put in much more effort in comparison to the early days? Well, that was bound to happen eventually, and will happen to literally every single competitive game that's out there. You can't do anything about it, but either use your own free time to improve and struggle while trying to climb higher or accept it as a fact.. And just ignore it.
Recoil have had to be altered. There was literally no recoil when I've joined, that got fixed. I'm happy for that, as I feel like firefights shall be challenging, not the simple point-click-win laser firefights..
The themes and visuals got changed, the game is, indeed, a lot brigher, and you're not the only one who dislikes it.. But, such a change happened to allow people with certain health issues to be able to play it.
Seizures from those light impacts, headaches, and mucho more. Although there's more light, there's not as much light difference between explosives and certain specific areas - Bright outside, dark inside, for example.
I do also dislike the altered maps, but so what? It probably got boring, so they've changed them to make it more fun.. Unfortunately, at the cost of dumping the entire Casual playerbase..

I do agree that those negatives are big enough to talk about them for hours, but that's still not good enough to prevent me from having fun while playing the game with my friends.
The number of reviews and the active playerbase is always gonna be different.
Take a look at mine and my profile; Over ~200 games, but I haven't even bothered sharing over thirty reviews.. Because it's quite difficult and takes about thirty minutes, sometimes about an hour or more to come up with the proper words.
It gets even more difficult if I have to write a review when I haven't touched the game for years, and I do barely remember the game's specific terms..
I'd claim that literally nobody bothers with writting the reviews. They don't matter at all, unless you were to focus on specific people in general, and you'd have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ called biased and that you're nitpicking reviews towards your likings and opininos while ignoring the rest of them..

As much as I'd have liked to continue our conversation, I can't do that anymore.
We've already derailed the thread's topic enough, so I'm not gonna share any more responses regarding Rainbow Six Siege.

Going to put this in here. The balance system and use of motion sensors really makes this game unique. Absolutely love sneaking up on a player, priming a grenade, knocking them to the ground, and then arresting them. I can't name another multiplayer FPS with a true non-voluntary and non-lethal option that doesn't involve some fantastical tranquilizer dart or the fictional "safely knocked out" trope. It's got stuff that really helps alleviate the classic issue in Counter-Strike and Call of Duty where being able to kill another player the fastest is the most important technique.

Leans into voice chat a lot though for team-only communication. Text chat is something both teams can always hear unless you're dead. I still sometimes play without a mic. Just have to be wise about what you do and don't say over text.

If you liked Rainbow Six: Siege then this game should absolutely be given a look.
