Being 23 with no kids is awesome.
Especially when I see the major sinkholes all of my peers have dug themselves into by having one... or four...

Well when most of my peers already have 2, what else do I expect? Parents constantly ask me why I haven't had kids yet.

Seems reasonable I guess

Gotta enjoy those early 20's!

Definitely! It just kinda dawned on me. Basically everyone I knew throughout school have kids. Some have multiple. And I'm just here like, "nope!"

Kinda makes me wonder why anyone would want kids. Constant and relentless drain on every aspect of your life for a good third of it, minimum.

There are advantages and disadvantages. It's easier to keep up with them when your younger. A younger person will more than likely be alive for more of their lives. If your older when you have them though, you will probably be more established and more mature yourself. My recomendation is no earlier than 28 for a guy and 25 for a gal.

I think you should have a permit to have a kid now.

Between having kids and not, or having kids younger and older?

My wife and I had our first when I was 30. So glad we waited. Her brother had his first when he was 23 and his wife was maybe 20. It's definitely been harder for them even though they're better off financially.

better off financially

Women nowadays seem to work at companies with better insurance. God bless them.

My brother has 2 kids. One at 18, and now one at 20. Girlfriend was 15 and 17.

I don't have kids, but I hear those diapers are expensive now.

the first child's dad didn't even care about his son, he just saw the baby one or two times,
i don't know why people want to have children when they are young, it seems like a kid taking care of another kid

I've seen that plenty of times. There's a lot I want to do that kids would do nothing except make it harder if not impossible.

$30 for a pack of 20 if I'm not mistaken.

If you can refrain from kids until you're 33 you can save a lot of money. I highly recommend such an approach for males, since we don't have to worry about age so much. Plenty of 30-something ladies around, easy to get, and if you don't like those, just stop by the college and grab one. With money, this is really simple.
