Are there now? I didn't think Jimmy John's had popped up anywhere in Canada yet.
But my point still stands. The original user I responded to said it was an american issue.
I dont like subway so it isnt just an american problem. I live in Canada. Therefore his comment is irrelevant.
If you're from Toronto (rhymes with piranha, if anyone is interested), you might as well be 'murican.
yeah pretty much lol
From the perspective of the rest of the country, yes. The only exception is probably Windsor.
"Hey. Would you mind putting a little more of X on my sandwich? Thank you!"
Between the two, gonna go with Subway. That would be a different story if we had Which Wich here. They have some damned fine subs, and WAY more options.
at subway at least here there food sits out all week making it kinda gross on somedays
I have the opposite experience from the OP. Subway hooks it up, whereas Jimmy Johns keeps it skimpy and sloppy.
As someone else said, Quiznos and Firehouse are better places. Quiznos for taste, and Firehouse for gobs of meat.
There was a little kiosk down the street with some Turkish dude who barely spoke English and made sandwiches that blew all those places out of the picture.
I hope he's doing okay.
Schlotzsky's is great! I also like Panera
I don't generally compare them to those cheap sub places though; they are a step above when it comes to taste.
I'll make my own instead. :P
