Jimmy Johns or Subway?
Which is better in your opinion and why?

I myself like Jimmy Johns because Subway skeets me on everything. "Can I get some jalapeños please"? *employee puts 3-5 jalapeños on sandwich*

THAT IS NOT COOL

I mean there are subways and jimmy johns in Canada...so the ignorance on this thread is very obvious.

Are there now? I didn't think Jimmy John's had popped up anywhere in Canada yet.

Dont know why I said jimmy johns. My bad. Only subway over here. Ive been to america though and had jimmy johns.

But my point still stands. The original user I responded to said it was an american issue.

I dont like subway so it isnt just an american problem. I live in Canada. Therefore his comment is irrelevant.

If you're from Toronto (rhymes with piranha, if anyone is interested), you might as well be 'murican. :cgrazz:

From the perspective of the rest of the country, yes. The only exception is probably Windsor.
Gonna blow you mind, OP. These is a very simple was to get the amount you desire of a topping on your sandwich. It is revolutionary. Ready?

"Hey. Would you mind putting a little more of X on my sandwich? Thank you!"

Between the two, gonna go with Subway. That would be a different story if we had Which Wich here. They have some damned fine subs, and WAY more options.
i prefer jimmy johns at least in my area
at subway at least here there food sits out all week making it kinda gross on somedays
There is a Jimmy John's about 4 blocks from where I work and yet I've never tried them. Subway is a big hit or miss. Sometimes its good, other times it taste like crap. The best sammich place is Schlotzsky's.

Subway.
I have the opposite experience from the OP. Subway hooks it up, whereas Jimmy Johns keeps it skimpy and sloppy.
As someone else said, Quiznos and Firehouse are better places. Quiznos for taste, and Firehouse for gobs of meat.

There was a little kiosk down the street with some Turkish dude who barely spoke English and made sandwiches that blew all those places out of the picture.
I hope he's doing okay.

Schlotzsky's is great! I also like Panera
I don't generally compare them to those cheap sub places though; they are a step above when it comes to taste.

Don't be rude please or I will report you.
I make my own subs 95% of the time. But, of the two, I'd go with Subway.
I've never been to Jimmy Johns since they aren't close enough to merit me going over there. Subway is...meh...so I can't really decide.

I'll make my own instead. :P
