There isnt any way to ignore this kind of stupidity and lack of intelligence
Those are the real stupid people.
your friend is just lacking of knowledge (it just seems to me like he doesnt have a clue about hardware) but that doesn't have to mean he's not intelligent.
Something pertaining to stupiity but the conversation appears to make no sense even under that consideration.
For exampel, it opens midway into the discussion with an incorrect point regarding the minimum requirements.
There is no supprot for any product that does not meet these requirements. "Laptop" or other mobile variants on the stated required specifications are typically not covered, so even a laptop possessing an equivalent chipset to match a desktop graphics crad listed on the requirements may not be effectively supported whatsoever and there is therefore no guarantee of perormance.
Next the mention is that a "he" (one assumes iis the 'friend', given the appelation 'F' and clearly M/F are not used to distinguish Male/Female in this scenario) is thought to be purchasing a laptop, howeever the response given alludes to a "they" and that the firend is somehow restricted from activity.
Therefore, it seems the stupid one here is the OP who clearly is misinterpreting a situation.
It woudl be prescient to discuss with the "They" who are intending to purchase the device, and of course there would be the means to identify a more accurate buddgeting figure.
There's nothing wrong with using so-called-gaming machine sspecification peripherals. In my work with simulation models, the respources required were extremely high and budgeting restraintswoudl not lend to overkill of leasing supercomputer time, instead parrallel nets of powerful but ultimately home-spec devices could be used to achieve results greater than the sum of their parts. Therefore, it's perfectly feasible that a portable device with 'gaming specification' end components may be ideal for working from home where nbo games are played on such device.

In dealing with stupid people, like the OP, attempt to identify the lapse in their wisdom, show where this is lacking, and provide direction to the solution.
Also this is just an example, I have told him multiple times and I am part of the problem (I am pretty impatient and I did make this post for help lol) but when people don't have a certain level of common sense I get extremley annoyed (Seriously, and estimate of £2000 for a WORK LAPTOP???).
I appreciate that maybe he doesn't understand the subject well but that's why i'm here to learn to not drink bleach while having a conversation.
First off am I really the stupid one, have you seen your spelling...
Also how much clearer could I ave put "I need help dealing with stupid people".
Second of all I am not wrong, you don't need the specified components, you can have higher and the majority of the time you can have lower (this came up when he told me with PC you need the exact components after I mentioned that with a console that games made specifically made for then can crash).
Also the "they" are his parents but he just over-heard them.
I fail to see where I "mis-interpreted" the situation.
I would say about more of the post but I just can't understand it.
Why? :D
I have same problem xD
I'm reading the post and the only problem I see is the OP himself. You seem to get way too angry to easily. The way you talk about him, you are a bit shallow and self centered. I think its time that you're "friend" find a new friend.
Also he thinks that Nigel Farage is a good politician and isn't racist eventhough Nigey boy has straight-up copied Nazi Propaganda.
He is also known as a racist.
Also it doesn't help that I have come to a point where I don't care what people say about me so I go overboard with what I say about over people, to be fair he ain't the nicest guy but I still go overboard.
Actually, I think not caring about what people think of you isn't a bad thing, within reason.
Okay, how to learn not to be so judgmental:
Imagine you have access to a giant kitchen with every cooking ingredient imaginable. There is a lot of stuff in there that makes you go "Yuck!". You decide to make a pie in that kitchen. So, what do you do? Do you put the yucky stuff in your pie and then complain about how it makes you puke? Probably not. You pick the ingredients that you like, and then you enjoy your pie. Someone else might like the stuff you despise, but since you can just not put in your pie, you don't really mind that the gross ingredients sit on the shelves.
People are like that. There are billions of them, all different. It's fine. There is no need for them to be less annoying -- you can just choose not to put them in your pie. (Genuinely ignore them or just adopt an attitude of, "Okay, this person isn't really someone I enjoy, so I don't engage with them -- someone else probably likes them, and that's okay.")
That doesn't always work, because some people are intend to throw themselves right into your pie uninvited, but often you just need to be more mindful of what and who you focus on.
