Suggest me some loot based game

Am look for a pc game , not early access if possible , there must be grind which is rewarded with loot system , multiplayer ..but unlike games like dayz and such where your death results you loosing your find .

I just want to get home from work , sit and play the game , get some reward , avoid as much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as possible (hackers , getting killed by groups (as i play solo) )
Any suggestions are welcome .

Borderlands 2 is your best bet for a loot based game. Torchlight 2 is also really good. Diablo 3 is probably the best loot game, but that's a non Steam game.

Borderlands 2 is great. I recommend getting the GOTY, the second level cap increase, and the headhunter packs as well. You'll have hours upon hours upon hours of gunny loot fun.
