Single-Player-MMO-Style?
Are there any MMO-style, but singleplayer games out there? For example, like Dragon Age: Origins, where you can have dedicated tank and a healer during combat. I know for a fact that Pixel Privateers follows the same mechanics as your traditional MMO-style, but that game isn't going to come out anytime soon.

In addition to the question, are there any similar styled games out there, right now?

Cheers!

You're probably looking for open world RPGs, stuff like any Elder Scrolls game or perhaps diablo like games. Some games that come to mind personally are Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series, Saints Row series, GTA series, Batman series, Titan Quest, Sacred series, Dungeon Siege 2 (one of my personal favorites), Neverwinter Nights 2 (a massive game), Total War series, stuff like that.

If you're looking for more party based games, there are plenty of those, along with tactics genre of RPGs, strategy games/RPGs and more. Just google the relative terms for what you're looking for, e.g. "party based rpg", etc.

I've actually been playing Shining Force 2: Sword of Hajya (gamegear) lately which is a pretty awesome party based/tactics game.

I can recommend you some games that feel like MMO's.
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2
Neverwinter Nights 2
Final Fantasy XII (buy the HD remaster version for PC or via PS2 emulation)
Xenoblade Chronicles (via Wii emulation)

Just go outside and make a list like "hit 100 trees with a stick", "travel 3 miles to this place and return" and when you talk to people, make sure to wait 3 seconds before replying to simulate lag.

There's also that mmo level from goat simulator.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse (2 is better imo), can be played entirely single player but also can be played online and has mmo elements.
