Free ♥♥♥♥ for my b-day, except Steam.
Was the 'ole bday yesterday. Got nothing from anyone, lol. Coulda got a free meal at Denny's, but never went. Even got a 10% off coupon in my email for a pair of $98 Spanx lol. Steam though, nothing, nothing at all :P You're welcome for all the money I gave you, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. lol. I'm happy though, my brother gave me a liter of watermellon shine, and I got a sweet card from the other half and co-workers. I'm not upset tbh, I don't "celebrate" my birthday anymore, more depressing than anything lol. And besides, I got something for MYSELF this year since I'm too old apparently for bday gifts, my Gigabyte G1 GTX 1080 should be shipping soon, today was the official release date if I'm not mistaken and I pre-ordered it on te 4th I believe.

Nobody is obligated to give anyone anything on their birthday.

But I find it funny how being in the "Burger King Kid's Club" at least hooked you up with a free meal for free. You spend 1000's of $'s on steam, not even a thank you, lmao.

Burger King does that for promotional purposes to increase traffic from its customers since there are a lot of choices when it comes to fast food. Steam doesn't have to since you either use Steam, or you play the majority of your games on a console.

Steam doesn't have much for competition.

LOL, GOG is giving them a run for their money with DRM free games. Their library is getting better all the time.

Steam's "thank you" is keeping their service running and keeping it free.

And actually, they do say thank you. When you purchase a game on Steam, you get a receipt via email and it says "Thanks for your purchase" and lists the game.

It would have to be, seeing as how it's "force-bundled" into some games. Well played on the second part though lol.

So, if I may ask, what was the point of the topic? Trying to indirectly ask people for free games, are we? Or no, not clever enough for that? Just like to complain then?

You're not entitled to anything on your birthday. Just to let you know. You say you're not upset, but you were apparently upset enough to post about it.

I don't see why you're so upset.

Why would a business distribute their product for free because of an anniversary of your birth? They're not obligated to give you anything. It doesn't matter how much money you spent on their platform, you agreed to that price and you recieved the goods in exchange.

I believe the term you are looking for is fecetious? Why in the actual ♥♥♥♥ would I expect anything from anyone, for starting a BS tongue-in-cheek post?

Seems EVERYONE has missed the point... My Bday is OVER, it was GREAT, just starting a BS topic making fun of how Steam didn't even send me an email, lol, nothing more. Jesus F. Christ, lol.

See, now if you just said it was your birthday, you wouldn't be getting all this bs.

I believe you mean facetious, and no, that wasn't the term I was looking for at all. I already useed the word I'm looking for, and that's "entitled." Which you seemed to feel that you are entitled to something from Steam.

If the topic is just a joke then there isn't anything to get defensive over, but I think you've only just started playing it off as a joke because people called you out.
