Just felt like a random thread and I have to admit I love some good metal.

I've been digging up a ton of new bands and thought maybe this is a good way to find and share too.

And I'm not just talking and KoRn and Godsmack (key word here is JUST. If it's metal it's welcome but ideally I'm looking for lesser known stuff) . I'm also talking about All Shall Perish, Death, NILE, THE BERZERKER, Rose Funeral, Rings of Saturn, Six Feet Under, etc. I could go on all day lmao

The heavier, the better, but I'm looking for rhythm, style and coordination.

Let the madness begin. ...

Edit: To clarify, this thread is for finding new music. Feel free to try to post something that I don't know or ask me to suggest something from a style, genre or characteristic of metal. I know absurd amounts of metal and would love to help many of these lesser known bands to get some much deserved attention.

Also, be sure to check through previous posts in this thread. There have been a LOT of things posted so far. If not, try to search the thread for something before posting it. I am writing the titles with my links so searches will work. It would also help others to search the thread if you did the same. This could be extremely helpful if this thread continues this way and gets too long to read all the way through. Thank you everyone for your interest and time. I appreciate all the posts and hope everyone finds some new music.

Am I really getting flak for starting a thread for a "similar", yet still different, subject in an "off topic" forum when there's a thread on here getting plenty of replies, complaining about cans with pop tops not being able to be opened with a can opener?

I think you misunderstand me, in such I'm not bothered by your own jab. I simply asked. Just as NightOwl, you could have don't the same. Sorry if I offended you.

And I didn't take a jab at anyone. OK maybe I took a jab at the fellow with pop top can problems, but no one else. I even stated that I liked all of those suggested. I simply stated that I'm looking for a bit of a different audience.

I also fail to see originality in a thread asking for metal suggestions at all. If I did, I'd argue that my first page has much more original suggestions. Which is, in fact, exactly what I wanted. I don't need to talk about Metallica, Megadeth, Judas Priest and Disturbed. Everyone knows them. There's no disrespect in that.

And lastly, I never said I had trouble finding metal threads. Sure there are tons of them. However, I don't see the harm in starting my own :D
