Emo.
How is someone Emo, because my friend always wear black clothes and every one calls him emo. What does emo really mean? (Srry for bad English)

From what I've heard, emos tend to be more "sad", while goths are normally people who like the look of evil looking things.

Last I checked an emo wasn't someone who was interested in subcultures.

Emo is a lifestyle that comes from punk only with some differences as the type of music he hears if more emocore scream rock and melodic, black clothes and some are depressive

Emo is the modern version of goth that seems to be more popular with guys than goth was. It also seems to be far more self obsessed and fashion oriented than goth was.

It's funny how when people want to be different now, they look for a group to be different with. And there are stores who have entire clothing lines for such rebels.

Emo seems to embrace the commercialization whereas goth people made most of their clothes.

I wear black all most exclusively because I just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ look good in black. I usually accent it with gold, browns, or deep reds though. I wear black down to my socks and underwear.

And I'm not emo or goth.

I think you need the long bangs covering one or both of your eyes to be an emo. As long as you avoid that you should be fine.
