SSBU Corruption, Are We In The Clear?
So, you may have heard about the glitch with Piranha Plant in All Star Mode, and Mii Swordfighter & Duck Hunt in Century Smash. I've seen many forums discuss this, but lose steam as soon as someone asks if the problem is fixed, so my question is this, has it been patched yet?
It's also been questioned if it's even as bad as it's been reported.
Here's what we know. Nintendo said they couldn't replicate the glitch, and probable causes are fake SD cards, Samsung SD cards, and other external issues. So another question I have is, has any conclusive evidence been found yet?

I forgot to mention that there was precedence with Mewtwo in SSB For Wii U.

With the 2.0.0 update in Ultimate, there were reports that playing as Piranha Plant, the first DLC character, could corrupt your entire save file. There were also reports of your save becoming corrupted if you played as Mii Sword Fighter or Duck Hunt in Century Smash.

There are reports of a few documented incidents, but some people are not sure of the legitimacy of these claims.

At some point Nintendo themselves did various testings, but couldn't replicate this glitch.

I wonder if this glitch could be abused for other things.
If they said they couldn't I dont imagine its fixed
The game has been updated a couple times with 3.0.0 coming soon, but still nothing new on this glitch, if it's even there.
Another cause might be the exFAT format of SD cards that the Switch uses.
If the glitch causes the game to crash or causes any interference with the game that makes it unplayable AND has been reported by many users who have encountered it then Nintendo will do something about it.
Someone mentioned that update 3.0.0 fixed the issue, can anyone verify these claims?
