Would you date a smoker? Have you dated a smoker before? Did you find them less attractive because of it?

I have asthma which only gets triggered by smokers and heavy pollution.
Dating, I would date someone who smokes but tell them I would avoid them like the plague if they smoke and advice quitting. Smokers do seem a lot less attractive as their health and hygiene appears lacking to me.

My ex-husband smoked, but I wouldn't date/marry a smoker now because of his bad habits.
Overflowing ashtrays. He never would empty the things! In the house, in the car...it was horrible.

I grew up around a smoker, and he smoked every day. I hated it.

Well yeah, as much as the smell sucks and as much as it sets off my eyes and nose, all medical evidence so far (that I'm aware of) suggests a cannabis smoker is looking at chronic bronchitis at worst, rather than markedly increased risk of cancer.

And it would've helped my mother a lot when she was dying from smoking related lung cancer
