it's a dutch language copy.. brand new sold from a validated webshop for 17.95.
(which is still way more than the 2.99 it used to sell at but well.. it's something)

it's a market rarity in that it never had a commercial release. it was simlpy shipped to unofficial retailers and left to have all of its profit lost on secondary markets.

this wasn't my original plan for the game, but when god came for the license again I realized I didn't have a career in game development.

That's a Win XP game, which would be discontinued by now for the PC. You could still get it on consoles, such as the Wii. However, it will likely not run upon newer Window Operating Systems, at least not well enough to be sold anymore.

and the XP version is the only one ever made for PC

1 build a retro xp rig.
GPU :
***win xp drivers can be found for all of the nvidea 7xx series, including the titan black and the 960
***win xp usually works on all of the 9xx series upto the titan X
-all of those can be obtained cheaply.
CPU :
***win xp works on all 2011 platforms the 4790k is a cheap and easely obtainable chooce
**on most 2011v3 boards (X99) it also works, best cpu than likely be the 6960X or the xeon 2699P v4

2 install windows 7 ultimate.
GPU :
windows 7 ultimate runs on even the most modern of hardware (though likely the 4xxx series will be the last supported
CPU : here it is more a hit and run affair, intel cpu's seem to be supported till the 10000 series, but almost no AM4 let alone AM5 platform cpu's do work.
-all skylake cpu's will guaranteed work
6700K or an 9990XE on 2066 platform are you best bets
both easely can be obtained on 2d hand market..
-windows 7 ultimate has GREAT windows xp backward compabiliy (unlike other versions of windows 7.. though I did notice when trying to use an gpu newer than an 9xx series not all xp games run as well on it. (but most will) cpu seems to make little effect as long as win7 runs it so does the xp compability.

3 run a virtual machine.
-> run a virtual machine, install windows xp on it, install your cdrom with that xp game on it and play it.

as of now no remake excists so one of those 3 options would be his best bet.
I think just buy some old hardware, run win xp and play it is by far the easiest solution.

as for delition.. I not think a bit of text eats that much resouces..
and unless you have a massive labour force.. how are you going to determine whats worth keeping I have had 10 year old posts that did not get responce for 8 years.. and only weeks ago somebody thanked me for it being exactly the info they were looking for (not always I take the effort to put things in guides some is just in regulair posts)

so things being locked should suffice.. perhaps where things are posted could be shifted.. topics in offtopic could expire a year after being closed... where those on game forums remain forever.
unless you have a better way to flag different posts that not need massive manpower?
