high rez screenshots.
hey fam. i have a laptop.
and i want to take high rez screenshots.

but the steam screenshots.. idk how they do it.. but they're terrible.
any way/program to get high rez screenshots?

tried F12 (steam) and geforce screenshots. they're both terrible but geforce is survivable.

High rez screenshot requires a high rez monitor. I mean, you won't get 4k screenshot, if you're not running on a 4k monitor.

can't you bump the rez to 4k? it works digitally. no way that's not possible.

... what are you saying my friend. Your screen has as many pixels as it was built with, did the package say your screen was 4k?

its not possible, a screenshot captures whats on your screen, if you want higher that would mean to edit a picture to get better quality and thats pretty hard

If you have an Nvidia graphics chip and the game supports Nvidia Ansel you can take High resolution screen shots.

Well, Steam takes 4K if you have 4K.
Don't know/never heard of it being possible to up the resolution of a screenshot to a resolution you don't support.

steam screenshots are kinda trash because they're saved in jpg, I just hit print screen and paste it into gimp or paint or whatever I have open and save it as a png

This is my usual method as well though at times I just like having things saved instantly into the screenshot area.
