I like the idea of communism: "Economic and social system in which all (or nearly all) property and resources are collectively owned by a classless society and not by individual citizens".

I do not just see how those countries are abiding by it. I do not get why communism also means lack of freedom of speech, and there are still rich people and huge gap between the wealth of people (oligarch and putin is rich as ****). Corruption also seems to be a big problem in these countries or former communist countries

I consider russia still to be more like china and north korea than a democratic country.

becuz americans invested billions of dollars to make capitalism the global economic system,and they succeeded it.Another reason is that communism failed to create the theoretical utopia described in the books because corrupted men who had power abused their power for their own profit and sooner or later communism converted to dictatorship.We are not ready yet for communism,the average human is greedy and not rdy to cooperate for economic equality.We need to fix our education system first and then try again communism.

Lol, you really think that Russia has communism? Russia has DEMOCRACY, just like democracy in USA.

You are very confused.Communism is economic system,Democracy is political system,they can coexist at the same time just like democracy and capitalism are the combo of the most western countries.
