The reason why I prefer consoles over PC
With all this console vs PC stuff going on I just want to present my point of view from it and tell you why I like consoles more than PC.

Well, the first reason is that you have no DRM on consoles. You can simply put your disc into it and play the game without to log in into any kind of platform.

The second reason is that you have used games, meaning that you can sell a game if you don't like it or don't play it anymore and if gives you the benefit to buy games cheaply from other players. So while Steam has sales I go to Amazon or GameStop and buy a cheap game there.

And the third and most important reason for me is that you can be sure that you games work on a console. You don't have to worry about if you XBox or PlayStation ha sthe required hardware for the game, you don't need to worry about driver or if the game works at all. For example I have Crysis 1 and Command and Conquer Generals which both don't work on my PC on default. To play Crysis I have to replace some game files, otherwise the game always crashes with the error "Crysis doesn't work anymore and must be closed.". And C&C Generals doesn't work at all. I always get the error " Game.dat is not working anymore" and there is no solution for that. And if you can't run your legal bought game without messing with the game files then there is something massively wrong in my opinion. On console I don't have to deal with such problems, I can just play the game.

And if someone wants to say now " But PCs have better graphics than console." then you met the wrong person. I don't care about pretty graphics, but think that console graphics are pretty good as well for me if not even awesome in certain games. So that argument is not working for me.

All good reasons, even if some people won't have problems with the quirks of PC gaming, others do.

In all seriousness, I don't understand how some of you people can look at 30 FPS.

Good reasons but i see one flaw. With consoles you are limited to that console. Once the new console comes out all you have left is a paper weight. With PCs you can, for the most part, continue to upgrade systems to play newer games. Plus, unlike consoles, you can play old and new games on PC. To me it seems far cheaper and more practical to game with PC because you have one device and not different consoles and shelves full of games that only work on one machine.
tl;dr mobile gaming is future

Except my attic is full of useless PC's and parts going back to the 80's whereas I can still plug in my master system or PS and still play games on it (Been playing both this week).

Also a lot of old PC games just won't run anymore, some have been worked or patched to do so but a massive amount are unplayable.

The one that produces the most outdated, obsolete garbage is the PC im afraid. By a long shot.

Eh, I don't mind it much at all. I mean, it makes a difference to have 60 over 30, but it's not unplayable at 30 fps.

Agreed. I'll take 30 FPS over crashing anyday, but everything feels sluggish and slow.
ok now gtfo of steam if you like consoles
Okay, rebuttle time.

1: DRM is not on all PC games. You can't assume that all games have DRM just because the largest digital provider is DRM. I can still get DRM free games via download and disc. And plus, even though there is no DRM, consoles are still more restrictive. (no modding, etc.)

2: Again, not all games are digital. I have a few used disc PC games. And besides, this applies to consoles too. You can't have used downloadable games on console either.

3: How does that RROD work out for you? If you have a good enough gaming PC you don't really need to worry about games not running.

That argument never made sense to me, pretty much everyone who games on console instead of PC already owns a PC, so it's not like them owning a console for games instead of using their PC automatically makes the low end PC they already own not capable of simple things like web browsing and photo editing.
