First Game to Use Dual-Core Cpus?
As the title says, what was the first game to use a dual-core processor?

It would have been around late 2004 or early 2005, Call of Duty 2 maybe?

No, at 2.8 ghz the pentium 4 could run it at high but, it would probably at that time span.

The earliest game I can find that recommends a dual core is the first Crysis.

That's what I though it might be at first, but Intel's first dual-core processor came out in 2004 or 2005 so, a game could have possibly came out earlier than Crysis. If not then, we can assume Crysis was the first.

I wondered if there is an even earlier game, but not likely. It explains why Crysis had a rep for being so demanding for so long. Games like that push people to upgrade their hardware. Most games tend to stick to more common system requirements. Crysis is a game you either had the system to run it or you probably wouldn't be able to play. Crysis 2 & 3 do the same thing. They are more like tech demos than just games.

Lol, that reminds me of the whole meme, "... but, can it run Crysis?"
