Parents blame everything on games...

So basically, my mom called me down to eat dinner. I said "Just give me a couple minutes!" and then she storms into my room, slams my keyboard on the ground (which is why theres a huge dent/hole in it) and screams at me and bans me for a week (this happened a week ago) all i said was to wait a couple minutes? I had a conversation with this before where she wouldnt blame anything on video games and yet she still blames games. Don't get it, its so stupid. She overexaggerates everything "YOU ALWAYS SAY WAIT A COUPLE MINUTES!" and thats like the 3rd time in my entire life i said that. Anyone know how to convince my mom that its not the video games?

Your mom is right you should stop playing so much GTA V and CS:GO . They are not even worth fighting off ur mom.

A total of 1800 hours on 3 games. If I showed your mom these stats she would most probably grab a bat and wack your pc to death.

As a mum myself I know how frustrating constantly having to call you kids in for tea when you've already called tea time. Many perents don't understand video games (even more so when you take things back 1 generation further- my mum reckons all video games are only for kids & teenagers so I stay off them when she'e round- being a carer as well as a single mum she helps out with some stuff). While her reaction was a bit extreme you could also have helped yourself too by not being on the games so close to tea time (which in most households is at roughly the same time every day)- worth it if she's likely to react so badly as you won't change her (most mums don't do well on taking advice from their kids).

I just have a lot of freetine and play. I usually come down when i need to but i was in the middle of a comp and was about to tell my team to call a timeout
