The Daily Life of High School Boys or Watamote. Although the first show sounds rather cliche, it actually has quite a lot to offer in terms of creativity and humor. Watamote was rather unique with it's nerve-wracking humor. It's a comedy that you want to drop with it's plenty of cringey moments, to wanting to see how the protagonist will succeed, and then screw up again.

Gurren Lagann. Then again, I haven't watched much anime, so there's not much to pick from. But it's an anime, it made me chuckle, it counts.

Plastic Neesan or Another. The latter especially is pretty funny due to it being about pies.

Golden Boy or Great Teacher Onizuka, both are awesome and ridiculously funny. I feel you have to watch it with subtitles though 'cause the English dubs are brutal.

Golden Boy is pretty funny...not too deep...but funny. I didn't mind the english dub personally.
