Are All Mexican Food the Same?
At least in the US? It seems like it's all the same ingredient but rearranged in a different way:

Tacos: corn/flour tortilla, choice of meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and topped with grated cheese and salsa. Served with a side of beans and rice.

Burrito: larger flour tortilla, choice of meat, beans, rice, grated cheese and salsa on the inside.

Chimichanga: same as the above burrito but fried.

Tostada: fried corn/flour tortilla, choice of meat, top with beans, grated cheese, salsa lettuce and tomatoes.

Carne asada/pollo plate: Side of flour or corn tortilla, choice of meat, side of lettuce and tomato, beans (topped with grated cheese) and rice, and unlike the taco, meat served whole.

Tortilla chips with meat: corn tortillas cut and fried, topped with choice of meat, tomato, grated cheese and salsa.

If anyone is Mexican, tell us, if you wish, what the people of Mexico really eat day to day.

It's not all the same, there are tamales, tortas, flan, molletes (I think that's how you spell it), and other things I can't think of off the top of my head. Although there are these other foods, I usually like to eat the ones you listed above if I'm in a restaurant.

For one thing, the things you list are moreso tex-mex than food-you-would-eat-in-Mexico. It's american mexican food, just like there's american chinese food. Not that you *don't* find those things in Mexico, but Mexican food is really diverse and varies across mexico itself. In the US, you often go to a cheap mexican restaurant and find the same 20 items in different combinations, but that's certainly only a fraction of what Mexican food has to offer.

Evidently, and hopefully someone who is passionate about Mexican food will start listing some of them. Response #2 isn't very convincing.

Not even remotely. Food varies greatly from place to place [if you go to actual Mexican owned restaurants], even within just my city. It's even more so if you're actually eating in places in Mexico.

Mexican food best food. <3
