Games with a 'Horde' Mode

anybody got any good games on PC that have the gears of war like 'horde' mode, where you fight off waves of enemies?

Too bad it is not on PC. I do hope MS find it in their hearts to port them to PC along with Sunset Overdrive and few others.

Dungeon Defenders, Saints Row the Third, Orcs Must Die, Black Ice, Serious Sam, Left 4 Dead 2, technically ever loud heist in Payday 2 is a horde mode, Zombies Monsters Robots, Warhammer 40k: Space Marines....

Splinter Cell Conviction and Blacklist both have a horde mode, though it's much better in Blacklist since there's more playstyles available, more tools to work with, more enemies to deal with, harder levels to hide in, and a HVT (high value target) you need to catch every five waves.

Not played Gears Of War, so I don't know precisely what you refer to with "Horde Mode" but given the wording, doesn't L4D or LD 2 have something like that?

I think Judge Dredd does too.
