Do people play healers willingly in RPG games?
Lately I got tilted merely because of me playing a support in Overwatch and no one checks my back.

So, do you play healers or tanks in RPG games such as WoW or Smite?

Lmao I've seen quite the opposite. The healer and carry were flaming each other for 20 mins. Then he types "hey heal me " and she heals him and support him till the end. Seen this many times. People want to win games rather than get stuck in one for 50 mins doing nothing but trolling

If it was a "she" that explains everything.

I play support characters because how simple it can be and over all increases my awareness of my team.

Are you kidding? Clerics are practically a religion in their own right, they've got T-shirts and everything.

In vitrually any kind of RPG you will find them, players dedicated utterly to replenishing the HP of hard-charging idiots who seem determined to deplete it as quickly as possible. I don't play cleric myself unless nobody else will, but my brother does, and I play Paladins enough to see what a challenging task this can be.

Of course, noobs will always forget about the cleric, they think they do all the work. They stay that way until they manage to piss a cleric off, and no amount of praying will save them then.
Pfft, paladins. The tryhards go to class. Are you a tank, a healer, or DPS? None of the above! The MMORPG embodiment of the phrase, "jack of all trades, master of none".

Do healers in FPS games count? If so, yes. I almost exclusively play support classes in TF2 and Overwatch.

I'm not sure if it's because I actually enjoy it or because I want to feel like a selfless hero when everyone else only cares about getting kills. Probably a bit of both.

Faith grants mastery over all things, but most importantly, oneself.

I just enjoy healing people, I get a kick from it for some reason

Heh in Overwatch I mostly play Tank. But most other games DPS.

It counts too.
As long as you're pumping rejuvenation bits into your teammates.

Yeah, they do it because they like it. My mom played a healer several times, for example. However she got tired of that and she only uses wizards now. I think?
In my case, I'm not a big fan of healers and tanks, I prefer to play DEX characters or a warrior.

I try to make and play one of each class in WoW, I often get angry at bad tanks when they can't aggro for ♥♥♥♥. And I'll let them know it the whole time until I reach the end of the dungeon. They probably regret every moment of meeting me in their pug.

K, first, what does tilted mean?
Tilted means you're angry but keep on playing, causing a chain of losses.

I only play support and healers usually.

I prefer healing and supporting my team rather than spanking some monster or other players.

I do, since playing as a healer has many benefits. Especially if you wanna go solo. It's the reason why I am a Templar in ESO.

But healers in Overwatch are the most infuriating in terms of solo play...

Dude. This is your own thread... You said "RPG". Do I need to insert a facepalm here? Overwatch is not an RPG. It's an Team-based FPS.
