Also, it depends. I usually like to play dps characters that deal massive ammounts of damage very quickly. Another upside is that they tend to be things like rogues that have abilities such as cloak and stuff. Tho I do like to play a healer sometimes, especially in games like Smite or Overwatch becasue being able to keep your whole team alive is a massive advantage. It does make you a prime target however, and healers tend to be kinda... squishy which turns me off from being a healer sometimes.
My main is usually a ranged, utility DPS type though. I like to do more than just face roll pure DPS. I enjoy doing stuff like crowd control/off tanking and defending the healer. In WoW my main was hunter and I could do all that and still pull more damage than most pure DPS types. I'd often get friend requests from the healer after pugs because I was usuall the only one who ever kept an eye on them.
I don't play MOBAs because they're too full of poor sports who can't handle losing.
In vitrually any kind of RPG you will find them, players dedicated utterly to replenishing the HP of hard-charging idiots who seem determined to deplete it as quickly as possible. I don't play cleric myself unless nobody else will, but my brother does, and I play Paladins enough to see what a challenging task this can be.
Of course, noobs will always forget about the cleric, they think they do all the work. They stay that way until they manage to piss a cleric off, and no amount of praying will save them then.
Lmao I've seen quite the opposite. The healer and carry were flaming each other for 20 mins. Then he types "hey heal me " and she heals him and support him till the end. Seen this many times. People want to win games rather than get stuck in one for 50 mins doing nothing but trolling
