I just got chilli in my eye while I was wearing my contact lenses
You want to know pain? Try getting chilli juice squirt in your eyes while your wearing contacts, or to be more precise try removing your contact lenses from your eyes while your lenses are covered in chilli, your eyes have chilli in them and your fingers are covered in chilli.

Right now I look like I just smoked a half ounce of wacky baccy, my eyes are bright red, literally there is no white in them at all.

And the worse part is I have to be in work in 30 minutes, I'm wondering if my boss is going to laugh his ass off or give me the sack for turning up to work whilst under the influence.

For future reference, wash your hands and hold your eye open in a bowl of water first before trying to remove it?

Agreed, but when it feels like someone just chopped the end off a chilli then rubbed it on your eyeball the last thing on your mind is washing your hands.

I just wanted them out and I wasn't going to wait around another second to get them out. TBH what I had on my hands couldn't possibly have made it any worse than it already was.

That's a nice excuse you got there. Can I use it the next time I get high chili in my eyes?

LOL, if you saw my eyes right now you'd understand this is not from getting smoked up. My eyes are not bloodshot, they are literally red all over, there is no white in them at all.

Its so bad I am actually on the line waiting to speak to a doctor to see if I should go and get them checked out or not.

I got that stuff in my eye before but it was from a ghost pepper. It kept me awake all night with the burning lol. Luckily I don't wear contacts.

That stuff does not wash off easily. It is an oil so you need to either use soap or alcohol and I don't think you want either of those in your eyes.

Some of these oils are so potent that if you cut the pepper with a knife then cut another food with the same knife, you'll be able to taste the pepper on the other food item.

This was a birds eye chilli, not quite as strong as a naga but still quite potent :)

Well I gotta phone in work and go down to the emergency room to have my eyes washed out. This should be a fun afternoon :(

Had similar incident but without contacts. They do wash off but take some time. The water that your eyes produce also help.

I can personally stand chilli, but powdered black pepper in your eyes and nose is... well I was feeling pretty miserable and aroused at the same time, but most people would just desribe it as hell.

Question: Why were you swimming in Chilli without goggles?
