I actually couldn't find an english dub of it but I did read the synopsis and thought it was trite. I really don't like when anime wrap up story with a nice, neat little bow without any consequences. Yuki and Yuno seperatly and together do a lot of horrible things to people they care about including each other and the anime barely deals with that which is my biggest problem.
Big Order basically ramps up all of the goofy stuff from Future Diary, so that's the main appeal of it. I've heard that it gets absolutely terrible by the end if you try to take it seriously, so if the goofiness from Future Diary wasn't what really made it appealing to you, then you should avoid it.
I know it sounds like I didn't like the show but I actually really did. It's rare I like more than half of the episodes of a 26 episode anime. I just always feel like most anime needs to be no more than 20 episodes. It's always that last act or five or six episodes that fall apart.
What is Big Order? Give a quick rundown.
I can totally see why people think it's okay. I think it's downfall is that it tried to be a lot of different anime and never really carved it's own uniqueness because of that. It's a little bit Tokyo Ghoul, a little bit of Steins;Gate and a little bit of lots of other anime. Ah well. The group suggested Black Lagoon so maybe I'll go there next
We love nerds here! All nerds welcome!!! You're a nerd hating nerd. Nerdception
Big Order is..... It's like a thingy where the main dude is trying to take over the world and he has the super power of domination where any area he's walked over becomes his domain, and anyone within his domain has to listen to him.
Then a bunch of other people with super powers show up, and say that they'll help him take over the world, (actually they are the ones that tell him to do it, but details), and something something, it was kinda dumb so I didn't pay too much attention.
You haulted my attention at "trying to take over the world". Lol thanks for trying anyway.
Can't wait to start Black Lagoon.
It's so overdone. I'm looking for new stuff, new ideas. World domination is lazy writing to me. It means that the writer wants you to focus on another part of the story so you can gloss over the generalized plot points
