If it wasn't a meme before, it now is!
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/sandy-hook-families-seek-2-75-trillion-from-alex-jones-1.1836028

Basically, Sandy Hook families want to keep suing Alex Jones, now for damages possibly up to worth a third of the U.S. total outlays from the 2021 fiscal year[en.wikipedia.org]
Even most countries could only dream of such budgets.

What's up with that?

Is this America?

What do you think?

I just read through Washington Post and NPR articles on the subject and nowhere is doxxing mentioned. I even did a web search for "Alex Jones dox parents" and nothing relevant to that shows up. It's all about defamation. The people who harassed the parents must have done it through their own efforts.

I mean, you'd think a couple liberal joints like that would be sure to point out that he revealed their information for others to use, whether it was legally done or not.
no. it's about your search abilities.
maybe

Which he got from lying, gifting and trying to harm people. He SHOULD have all his money taken. All of it.
Let's put the person and case aside. It's the amount that is ridiculous.
No. Not for the person. Who the person is does matter. A judgement against Bill Gates Or Alex of 2 million dollars is just pocket change to them The idea is that it has to hurt them. Part of the judgement is a form of punishment.

There's inforwars footage in this video of them revealing somebody's postal address. Watch from about 11 minutes for context. I don't know how to find the original clip. If you keep watching until 14 minutes you'll see the kind of harassment these people got. I'd recommend watching the whole video though.

But there isn't anymore then Alex and is cronies did... his just got more attention because: kids

Using kids as a crutch to shut down any contradictory theory speech is no better then what he did, so yes, a very slippery slope for the next one that comes along...

Your brain doesn't work right. I'm done here.
God Bless.

If you keep your wild conspiracy theories that's fine for you... just don't complain when ~you're~ the next one fined $1 Billion...

One more thing to add to my list on reasons to avoid America.

It's our 2nd amendment you should have at the top of that list. Some States even have Stand Your Ground Laws. Basically, if I feel I'm in danger I can use deadly force. Again, more nuanced but that's the nutshell.

Some States say "You must retreat" Stand your ground States say "Go ahead and fight back."

Every country has good and bad things about them, I've traveled a lot in my lifetime. Some places are better than others. My homeland is a unique place for sure though.

Nah, 2A is actually part of my list on reasons why I should move to the U.S., along with the rest of the Bill of Rights, among other things.

When you're going all in charging the bull in court. You ask for as much as you possibly can up to the worse possible case for the offender then let the judge in the middle adjust the bar to what he feel is right.

Asking for money in a lawsuit is more of a statement of how much the pain that was caused to you is worth in your eyes.

In the case of this lawsuit and what Jones said, I'm surprised they don't ask for his clothes as well.

You have inherent bias in your thinking.

You use "he" when referring to a judge, but in this case the judge was a woman. You should be cognizant of your ignorance of the matter, and if you don't know, use the word 'they' or 'them.'

Furthermore, your understanding of american legal procedure is sorely lacking.

I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Pronouns, is in fact, GNU/Pronouns, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Pronouns.

what?

Writing a sentence describing a profession and using he/she simply shows inherent bias in the writer. Use of neutral descriptors saves you from having egg on your face.
