Im suprised no one has mentioned these classic and wholesome "feel good" movies from the 80s?

To this day, I have a soft spot for these:

The Goonies (1985, Richard Donner / Stephen Spielberg)
In order to save their home from foreclosure, a group of misfits set out to find a pirate's ancient valuable treasure. - Heeeeeeeyyyyyy you guys! lol

D.A.R.Y.L (1985, Simon Wincer)
A seemingly normal young boy turns out to be a top secret military-created robot with superhuman abilities.

Stand by Me (1986 - based ona Stephen King novel)
After the death of a friend, a writer recounts a boyhood journey to find the body of a missing boy.

Flight of the Navigator (1986, Randal Kleiser)
In 1978, a boy is moved 8 years into the future and has an adventure with the alien ship that is responsible for that.

OK so this last one isnt so family friendly but it is a feel good one!

Scarface (1983, Oliver Stone / Al Pacino, enough said)
Say hello to my leetle friend!
In Miami in 1980, a determined Cuban immigrant takes over a drug cartel and succumbs to greed.
Scarface also runs club hell lol.

I like:
A Fish Called Wanda
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover

I'll name one of them, while I'd have to be think about the rest. To be honest, there aren't too many '80s movies that I like.

The Beast (1988) Is good comrade, has glorious T-72 Main Battle Tank and psycho Russian tank commander free of charge as added bonus. Get today and have much fun. Great for kids and play toy! T-72, the tank of the future and welcome piece to your living-room set. Great decoration too.

A stunning movie. Here's some audio to enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6qUTSZ5Zmk&feature=youtu.be
Blade was ahead of its time

Tough one. Looking BACK at it as an adult The Thing is pretty hard to top but living through it as a kid I'd probably say Flight of the Navigator or Neverending Story instead.
