Ahh the 80s. Some amazing films, almost too many to mention for me.
I have mentioned a lot of my favorite horror titles in the horror movie thread.

However, some of my 80s favorites to this day are:

Bladerunner

Big Trouble in Little China

Dune

The Shining

The Keep

Hellraiser 1 and 2

The Terminator

Robocop (the original and best)

Akira

The Running Man

Conan The Barbarian

Tron

The Black Hole (another dark one from disney, that evil red robot gave me many a sleepless night)

Also would put those 80s van damme movies up there if only for the fights lol.

Then theres the cheesy but cool horror - Friday 13th (Kane Hodder was the best Jason Vorhees), Nightmare on Elm Street and lets not forget the TV!!!

Knight Rider, Air Wolf, (Ernest Borgnine ftw) Street Hawk (Tangerine dream intro, ftw), Battlestar Galactica, heck even the kids shows were decent back then!!
