War. What is it good for?

Thinking about these lyrics. I've honestly thought what a hellscape the earth would be if war DIDN'T exist. I'm trying to understand...what would a world without war look like? If there could never be opposition to those who rule. What would happen?

War can be out peace keeeping, stopping genocide, even just delivering aid when facing combatants. There are some wars I've been anti war about...but I've wonder about people who are completely anti war altogether. Like I'm interested to hear from people who are anti war and why they have that position.

I guess it's good for business. What's destroyed will need to be rebuilt, replaced. War also can be a catalyst for technological innovation.

War results in a lot of deaths, leading to a lower population in the World, which is a good thing.
You know, how there are already limits of how many children you can have in China and other countries in Asia, right? Well, this is gonna apply to every single country in the World in no time.

War usually is caused by those who rule.
Going against the rulers is more like rebellion than war, it can cause civil unrest that can lead to civil war in worst cases... but this is just a minority of wars most wars were fought following orders of those who rule.
